Ethan Silver is a sophomore at Los Osos high school. He is an excellent student with many talents. Ethan was on the Los Osos varsity wrestling team for two years where he was also recognized as a Scholar Athlete. He loves this time hanging with his buddies and developing a new skill.
In addition to being an athlete, Ethan learned to play the trumpet, piano, and has self taught himself to play the guitar. Almost nightly we will find Ethan in his room practicing songs from Elvis to Metallica.
One of Ethan‘s most favorite places to visit is Hawaii… Where he loves to go fishing with his grandpa and hunt for eels on the reef. You would be amazed how many eels come out when you toss some fish guts onto the reef. One year while swimming in Hawaii a Portuguese Man of War wrapped his burning tentacles around Ethan’s body. Ethan screamed in pain as he got the true island experience of Hawaii!!
We are so proud of Ethan and his tender heart and kind spirit. He loves being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We’re proud of Ethan for being the first Eagle Scout in our family… He is a great example to his younger brothers!
